They had a tough climb up Mt. Everest and really showed the true Phoenix spirit, even carrying their own Academy flag! We are so proud of your accomplishment and you are an inspiration to us all. Here is their story:
Good Morning Master Graves,
I would like to share with you the news that both Raymond and Patrick went on a 10 days hike to Mount Everest Base Camp during the spring break.
Hiking in average 7 hours every day, they made it to the top at 5,364m.
Through, rain, wind and snow, they kept at it, having to deal with the freezing cold and lack of oxygen, they never gave up. Making them 2 of the youngest in the world to have reached.
They are very proud to share with you their achievement and took a picture proudly holding the Phoenix Black Belt Academy Flag at Base Camp. Please find attached the picture.
